What is dotmobi

This is a set of rules that allows the rendering of web pages on mobile phones possible (i.e. usable). These rules are simple common sense things, designed to account for the fact that people have different mobile browsers, screens are small, input areas are small, phones often do not have scripting, etc.

However, it is important to recognise that it is not good enough just to reformat web pages for mobiles. Rail users do not want a pdf of trains leaving the station when looking at metro timetables - they want just the next 3 trains leaving their station in the next 30 minutes.
