Mobile phone users will use The Tree as their home page. Their home pages will contain links to their favourites as well as well as previews of services registered on the Tree - we will sign them onto these services automatically if required.

The Tree is free to mobile phone users. Communities can be created so that everyone has the same look and feel, and be provisioned with the same default services.

Many more services

Anybody or company can register a service on the tree using our SDK and API - C++. C# and Java. This will become immediately available to all users. Services that incur costs will go through our billing engine, and a revenue share will need to be agreed with service providers. The service can be local or remote. Costing for registering services ranges from nothing upwards, and depends on traffic, and so on.

The Core

The Tree will use Korwe's mobile platform built around The Core: this includes our Single Sign on Service, Personalisation Service and other reference services including email, SMS, Twitter, Loyalty, Metrorail timetables, RSS feeds (news, sport, business), weather, presence, etc. Our patented Context Engine will assist users in finding the services they require on The Tree.

The Tree = Personalisation

The services can be personalised at tree4.me - this is a web interface (tree has a simple xhtml interface, that uses device recognition to tailor markup.) By signing in they will be able to personalise their home page.
We expect clients ranging from B&B\'s in Brakpan (so that users driving through Brakpan late can find their B&B) to corporates (using The Tree as yet another channel) to register.

Find what you want

This is a service very much like the CEEFAX service on the BBC. Here we provide you with a service registry of useful services - that is no SEO and adverts - that allows you to get personalise your home page.
We do not host your services - though this may change - all we do is provide you with a useful way of being able to manage them as well as perhaps extract just the information you want from them.

Getting onto The Tree

You should now register (all you need is a mobile) and then make it your home page to auto sign in.
You should also tell us what you would like to see or add it yourself.

For companies...

For service provider we provide you a way of being able to get your services into the mobile cloud quickly and cheaply. All you need to do is implement the API using our SDK and the consumer will be able to select what they want from our registry of services.
We have two views "tree4 me" and "tree4mobi" - the dotmobi site is optimised for mobiles - while you can set personalisation from the mobile site, you may also wish to use the big screen version at tree4.me.
