Why the name Korwe?

Pronounced ‘core + ware’

It is a play on three concepts:

1. “coreware”: as in software—our core component is called ”The Core”
2. “Korwe”: the Tswana name for the Yellow Billed Hornbill—thus the birdie in our logo!
3. “korwe”: the Afrikaans word for beehives—what better social networking example can there be?
